Following on from his amazing rich vain of form, Michael Van Gerwen has won the European Darts Open Title in Dusseldorf.

MVG picked up the victory with a 6-2 victory in the final against Australian Simon Whitlock

Michael Van Gerwen has become the premier league champion by sensationally beating Phil The Power Taylor 10-8 in the final.

A packed o2 arena in London, saw MVG dismiss James Wade 8-4 in his semi, with the Power victorious over Van Barneveld by the same score.

It is only 4 days until the PDC darts pros arrive at Blackpool for the 2012 World Matchplay. The setting at the Tower Ballrooms is amazing for atmosphere and it promises to be a action packed event. Taylor Wins The Premier League

Phil Taylor has just won the Premier League 2012. He defeated Simon Whitlock 10-7 in the final. It was a final that was slightly subdued until Whitlock put a great fightback to change a 7-2 deficit to 7-7 ,and missed a dart to go 8-7 up. Taylor then turned up the heat and managed to get his nose in front and lift the trophy.

The Final Countdown!

Well after 14 weeks of darting action in the Premier League Thursday night will see who claims the prestigious title of Premier League Champion 2012. After a mind boggling final set of league matches last week where so many permutations of potential finalists tonight is a lot more straight forward. They are 2 semi final games then the winner of each meet in the Final game for the title. There is also an added bonus match tonight with Michael Van Gerwin taking on James Hubbard for the Youth World Championship final.

As far as predictions go I really cant see past Taylor taking home the silverware with a victory over Simon Whitlock who i predict to get through his semi final against Andy Hamilton.
