JELLE KLAASEN

Jelle was part of this years Dutch exodus from the BDO to the PDC with fellow countrymen Vincent Van Der Voort and Michael Van Gerwin.
Jelle took the world of darts by storm in completing the biggest upset in darts by winning the 2006 BDO World Championship against Raymond Van Barneveld, who was gunning for his illusive fifth title. Jelle had come from nowhere and was enlisted by the bookmakers at a token 100/1.

These odds soon slashed a his quick but precise throwing action took the scalps of big seeds such as Sean Greatbach and Mervyn King. Jelle fell at the first hurdle next year round and soon left for the PDC. This year Jelle has been steady but has not recreated his 2006 world championship form.
