PHIL TAYLOR

Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor, simply the greatest man to ever grace the oche. The thirteen times world champion has won everything in the game of darts, along with six televised 9 dart finishes. Phil changed the whole face of darts by bringing the game to a new level, constantly averaging 100+ in matches. Not many could really keep up with the high scoring and clinical finishing. Taylor puts his success down to sheer practising. Phil used to play darts in pubs around his home town of Stoke. It was here that his mentor Eric Bristow became involved in starting off his career in darts, by borrowing Phil £10,000 so he could practice more and enter small tournaments.
