Yep, it’s not a typo.. Remember the hit song ’snooker loopy’ with Chas and Dave which included snooker aces such as Steve Davis and Willie Thorn?

Well the Match Room Mob are back but this time instead the snooker lads have been replaced with yes, you guessed it.. the darts mob!

The stars will be out in full force with the cover of ABC’s ’shoot that poison arrow’ including 15 time world champion Phil Taylor, who is said to be ‘Mad Fer It!..’ and rumoured to have been taking a few singing lessons!

Other darting stars include favourites Barney, James Wade, Dennis Priestley and even legends Bobby George and Eric Bristow.

With the dribble that’s in todays top 40, whose to say this won’t end up been a hit!

Phil ‘The Power’ Taylor is sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League, unbeaten in seven matches. Taylor though is up against Raymond Van Barneveld, who has the better of Taylor on many occasions in the past but has never beaten him in the premier league.

Tonight sees the final of the 2010 PDC World Championship final contested between Phil Taylor and in form Aussie Simon Whitlock. There will also be a 3rd place playoff match between Raymond Van Barneveld and Mark Webster.

Phil Taylor is the sole player flying the flag for England in this years PDC World Championship.  He will meet former BDO World Champion Mark Webster in what should be a great game of darts.  Raymond Van Barneveld takes on in form Aussie Simon Whitlock in what also promises to be a cracker.

Phil Taylor and Raymond Van Barneveld both secured their places in the 2010 PD C World Championship Semi Finals last night.  Both players ran out 5-0 winners in their matches although Phil Taylor’s win was a lot closer than the score shows.  Adrian Lewis played very well and lost most of the sets by the 1 leg where he had a couple of bad scoring visits to the Oche.  Taylor also put in his best perfomance of the Championship so far which is more than ominus for the rest of the participants!

Raymond Van Barnevelds match against Ronnie Baxter failed to live up to the expectations.  It was hoped a repeat of their epic battle last year would occur as in his previous games Ronnie had been playing superbly.  However in a not to disimilar situation to  Barneys last victor where he was up against an in form Painter, Ronnie failed to perform to the standards he had set in his previous matches.  Raymond did play his best darts so far in the Championship although on form you would have to say that Simon Whitlock has a good chance against him today in the semi final.

Happy new year to all our visitors and what a great start to the Year it is today with some mouthwatering lineups for this years Quarter finals.  The stand out match has to be Taylor against Lewis.  In the past Lewis has not performed at his best against Taylor but so far Lewis has been playing some inspired darts and if he continues like that tonight we will be in for something very special!
